BobCat 753 – CONTROL HANDLE – Linkage Adjustment

Raise the lift arms and install an approved lift arm support device. (See Installing Lift Arm Support Device
on Page 10-20-1.)

Lift and block the loader. (See LIFTING AND BLOCKING THE LOADER on Page 10-10-1.)

Raise the operator cab. (See Raising The Operator Cab on Page 10-30-1.)

Connect the remote start tool (MEL1429). (See REMOTE START on Page 10-60-1.)

Pre-load tension in the torsion bushings must be removed before adjusting the steering linkage.

Loosen the nut (Item 1) 3 to 4 turns, then loosen the bolt (Item 2). The bolt (Item 2) is threaded into the linkage bar
(Item 3). The bolt (Item 2) [Figure 50-110-15] must be loosened enough to allow the torsion bushing to turn freely between the steering bell crank and the linkage bar.

Loosen the nut (Item 1) 3 to 4 turns, then loosen the bolt (Item 2). The bolt (Item 2) is threaded into the linkage bar
(Item 3). The bolt (Item 2) [Figure 50-110-16] must be loosened enough to allow the torsion bushing to turn freely between the pintle arm and the linkage bar.
