NOTE: The steering shaft can be removed without removing the control panel from the loader.

Remove the steering linkage mounting bolts (Item 3) [Figure 50-100-10].
Remove the steering shock mounting nuts (Item 2) [Figure 50-100-10].
Remove Control Handle Lever (Item 1) [Figure 50-100-11]. (See Lever Removal And Installation on Page 50-100-1.)
Remove the steering shaft pivot bolt (Item 2) [Figure 50-100-11] from both sides of the control panel.
Installation: Tighten the pivot bolts to 25 – 28 ft.-lb. (34 – 38 Nโขm) torque.
Remove the steering shaft from the control panel.
