Turn the engine OFF and remove the L & S Terminal connector (Item 1) [Figure 50-30-5] from the alternator.
Check the continuity between the โSโ terminal (Item 1) and the positive (+) terminal on the battery or starter terminal (Item 2) [Figure 50-30-6]. There should be continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the wire harness.
If the voltage is still above 14.7 volts at 21ยฐC (70ยฐF) (alternator temperature), then remove the alternator for replacement or repair.
