Raise the lift arms and install an approved lift arm support device. (See Installing Lift Arm Support Device on Page 10-20-1.)
Raise the operator cab. (See Raising The Operator Cab on Page 10-30-1.)
Remove the crossbar pivot bolt (Item 1) [Figure 50-90-3].
Remove the bolt and nut (Item 1) [Figure 50-90-4] to disconnect the lift pedal linkage from crossbar.
Remove the hairpin clip and cross-pin from the control valve lift spool (Item 1) [Figure 50-90-5].
Disconnect the crossbar from the control valve.
Remove the crossmember from the pivot [Figure 50-90-6].
Installation: Check the nylon bushing (Item 1) [Figure 50-90-6] for wear and replace as needed.
